Today is National "See You at the Pole" Day

This was the scene as I dropped my children at school this morning. Children were beginning to gather around the flag pole to pray. They prayed for their schools and for the country. Great tears of joy streamed down my cheeks as I drove by and witnessed such sweet devotion. Just by showing up these children made a statement that faith in God was more important than anything their schoolmates could think or say about them. They showed tremendous courage and most of all their love for God, School and Country. I watched as my oldest son went to join them and knew in my heart that, even though you only have to turn on CNN to witness all of the persistent evil in our world today, God is with us and He continues to bless us each day.
Luke 18:16-17 "...Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 17I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."

  1. All this for our King. We rise as a nation when we turn our gaze to heaven. And I know our Lord smiles down on us. Yes,"these children made a statement that faith in God was more important than anything their schoolmates could think or say about them". Thank you for a post that share hope. Blessings..
